Why I Changed My Tagline

The Failure

Some of you might have noticed that I changed my tagline.  Right now it reads, "Not another worthless MMO blog".  I changed it because I realized that this blog was no different than the other 30 million of the small blogs out there trying to recycle the same crap, over and over.  The tagline used to read blah, blah, blah the same crap you can read at all other blogs out there.

The main reason I changed the blog title is because everytime I read it, I get inspired to create unique quality content.  It gives me something to try to live up to.  I don’t want to be the same as all the other worthless MMO blogs out there.  It is a waste of time. 

I have been blogging almost a year now and I realized that I had been wasting a lot of time writing about things that can be found much easier on a way better blog.  So basically, I am admitting failure.  Not complete failure, but failure in one aspect.  I am glad I did though.  I wish I would have realized this much earlier so I wouldn’t have watsed so much time. 

Back to The Basics

Anyway, enough feeling sorry for myself.  Let’s talk about how this blog is going to be different and not a waste of time for people to read.  First off, this blog is going back to a blog.  The whole purpose of a blog is to be like an online journal right?  Yes, that is right!  Just because we are in a web 2.0 world now doesn’t mean the basic things change.  A blog is supposed to be like a recording of someone’s thoughts.  Nowadays, many people call their blogs businesses.

Although this may be true and they may be successful at it I am simply saying that this blog is not going to be a business, it is going to be a useful resource for people.  My wish is to entertain and educate people.  It is what I do all day long in real life when I am interacting with the many people i know.  If any of you know who I am then you know what I am talking about.

I read all the time on the Internet and stay up to date as much as I can.  It is hard wading through all of the information that is crammed into our heads on a daily basis from all angles.  This blog’s focus will still be about making money online for its readers and it’s owner, but in a different way.
