Use Ezine Articles and Article Marketer to Generate Traffic

Article directories are a great way to promote your articles and gain some exposure for your blog. Although there are many article sites out there we will discuss 2 of my favorite ones that I use.
EzineArticles
Ezinearticles is a very easy to use website with a nice interface. You can create a free account and profile and start submitting articles right away. The free account has limitations how many articles you can submit. If you pay you can get an unlimited number of submissions.
Once you create your public profile you will have a nice professional looking page with links to all your articles on it. Check out my profile. This is a nice little page you can stumble it, digg, etc for maximum promotion.
There currently is no affiliate program available for EzineArticles.
Article Marketer
Article Marketer is similar to Ezine except that it takes a bit longer to get articles published. It is probably because the site is busier. Article Marketer has two levels of exposure. You can go with the free exposure which is a limited number of sites and people. Or you can pay $22/month to have your articles submitted to 167,252 people and 5,982 sites!
Article Marketer also has an affiliate program which will pay you a percentage commission on every sale you bring. You earn 25% direct commission on any Article Marketer sales you generate, and 5% second tier commission whenever someone you refer as an affiliate makes a sale. This is a great program to promote for me because I use this product regularly and I know it works.

The more articles you write on various topics the more traffic you should get to your site. Both programs offer an author’s box which let’s you put a link back to your site. This is a great easy way to promote your hard work. I recommend you try them out and tell me what you think.

Using services like Ezine Articles and Article Marketer can have quite an impact as it spreads one’s site to locations that they might not have gone. It is hard to think of the negatives of using these available entities.
