Monthly Dividend Stock Reviews

As you may know there are around 300 stocks that pay monthly dividends.  So being the nice guy I am, I decided I will research and review each one of these stocks individually.  This way we can come up with a solid list of great monthly dividend stocks to choose from when building your monthly cash generating portfolio.

Obviously not all dividend stocks are created equal so we need to weed out the super stars from the ameratures.  I will be going right down the list and reviewing each one of these stocks individually.  This is a win-win situation for me because not only will I be filling this blog with valuable information that is free to all my readers, I will be getting excellent practice on how to value dividend stocks.

So to start let me define the strategy I will be using to value these stocks.  I will be using the basic analysis steps provided by the wonderful Motley Fools.  These self made millionaires did not get there by accident.  I have always found them to be one of the most trusted sources for stock information on the web.

Balance Sheets – I will be reviewing each monthly dividend stock balance sheet from the Securities and Exchange commission.  I then will try to determine the value of each stock based on their liquid assests and liabilities.

Dividend Yield and Growth – One of the key factors we be the companies dividend payout and history of growth.  We are hoping to find companies that have been increasing their dividend for many years in a row.

Other factors – Other factors such as, cash flow, buying back dividends, and more will be assessed as well.

Disclosure

I have never claimed to be an analysis expert, nor am I a licensed stock broker.   As of now I am simply an individual investor who is highly interested in monthly dividend stocks.  My purpose for these reviews to is to give my readers some information about the companies to help them better understand each of the monthly dividend stocks I review.  I am also doing this to help me make better personal investment choices in the future.

Everything I say is my opinion only and never should be taken as investment advice.  I cannot guarantee that the information provided will be accurate.  I will try to be as neutral as possible with my reviews and see the good and bad of each company.  In my mind I am doing this for education purposes.  So I expect to make mistakes.  I also am hoping to get some added insight from comments left by readers as well.  The information will be a snap shot of the company based on the information that is available and is subject to change.

Finally, always remember that past performance cannot predict future performance.  Thank you.

Stay tuned, the first review will be coming soon.
