UPDATED: Not selling after all.
Hello Folks. I have decided to sell this blog. I have been writing about Making Money Online for about a year now and am just plain tired of it. There are literally 80 million other blogs trying to blog about the same thing so it makes it difficult. I was of course sucked into this dream of making money online when I first started like so many other people. Eventually I realized the truth about it and that it takes either a truly original idea or being networked with the right people.
Don’t get me wrong, I learned so much about internet marketing, affiliate marketing and advertising from my experience so I don’t see it as a failure. My life is going in a different direction now and I just am no longer interested in the niche. I started with 3 blogs and now I am down to one. My personal blog is all I care to write anymore.
As far as selling this blog, I may just list it on Sedo or something. I am not sure just how valuable it is. It averages about 1100 visitors a month and averages about $20 a month in income from adsense. So the blog pays for itself. I think it could be a great starting place for someone wishing to get involved with learning about internet marketing. The domain is already aged and the home page has a pagerank of 1.

I begin a blog back in 2007 about investments, my goal being to reach 50 000$ value in investments. Just lately, I had been trying to make money online, since my hours had been cut at one of my jobs. Making money online is SO difficult. First, I had one those difficult time to drive traffic to my blog! I have an average of 10 visitors per day lol. Let’s say I am far behind you on my Adsense earnings!

Yeah, I see what you are saying. It’s just that is no way I would really have the time to be writing about investing and making money online. Frankly I am tired of chasing the idea of making money online. I will just invest on my own and not write about it. I just want to gain readership on my personal blog because I like to discuss all kinds of subjects with people. Making money online is pretty much a dead niche. It is way too hard to try to earn money that way. It is better to do what you love instead.

If you are thinking about promoting the carpet cleaning blog, I recommend first getting a decent free template to style up your blog more. Second, there are many resources you can use to promote your blog but starting off you need to analyze the other sites in your niche and try to make some new friends who are involved with the same thing. They will know other people who are interested and so forth. Get on some social media sites like facebook and twitter and join groups and forums, etc.

Here is a tip. Create and schedule blog post about topics that you want to cover. Just find interesting websites or other blog posts and sit down in short bursts and write posts and set them up to post throughout the day, at least 1 an hour.
You’ll be amazed at the traffic by the end of 2 weeks.
