Dividend Reinvestment Calculator
When investing in dividend paying stocks it is important that you calculate them correctly. I recently came across this awesome Dividend Reinvestment Calculator from Buyupside.com.
You simply enter the stock ticker of the stock you want, the number of years you wish to reinvest the dividends, the initial investment, and then the monthly contributions. Hit the go button and you will see how many dividends you will have made and how much the portfolio will be worth.
This tool comes in handy when trying to decide which stocks pay better dividends and to help you get a ball park figure on how much your dividend payments will be. Passive income is an incredible and convenient resource to have. Dividend reinvestment is the best way to get a good compounding effect from a stock. You usually end up with higher annual gains over the long term as opposed to normal stocks.
Now that you have the calculator you may want to try out these newsletters to you help you find some dividend paying stocks. Dividend Watch and Double Dividend Stock Alert. Happy investing

Chris,
It seems the site no longer exists. I updated the post with a new calculator for now until I can find a really good one. Thanks for the heads up!
