Did You See the Social Media Love-In Over at ProBlogger?

This is one of best ideas I have seen in awhile.  It helps out other blogs a great deal.  Its called Social Media Love-In.  Basically what Daren did was let people put all of their links to all of their social media accounts in the comment section of the post.  By doing this you get the following:

• A backlink from a great blog.
• Free promotion of your blog.
• Free promotion of all of your social media accounts.
• You get a lot of new friends to connect with.

There is a 24 hour time limit during each session so you got to pay attention.  I was lucky enough to get my links in the first session and in 1 day I already had 30+ new fans on digg.  Darren thought of a great way to help out of bloggers and session #2 is coming up soon.  If you are new to blogging this is a great way to get yourself a nice traffic boost.  Another great thing he did is create some follow-up posts listing hundreds of profile links separated into categories for you to interact with.  Great idea Darren!
